This bench is made out of quarter-sawn white oak and depicts two bears fishing. It took 2nd place in 2007 at the L.A. County fair and now resides at our house.

Brenda brought a three-legged pine stand home one day and wanted me to strip, sand and finish it. This task is not as much fun as building one so that is what I did. It is made of walnut with multiple coats of tung oil as a finish. Brenda's mom liked it so much that she offered to treat me to as many In-N-Out burgers as I could eat if I made her one. I must have gained 5 lbs on delivery.

This desk was my first big building project at the new house. One of these days, I will tackle the wiring for all the peripheral computer equipment.

The filing cabinet compliments the desk above but was made several years later. Looks can be deceiving because there are only two drawers to store letter-size folders.

This foot stool is larger than life and holds a place of honor at my brother-in-law and sister's house in San Diego.

My mom has a 12 acre ranch near Escondido and wanted a planter. This turtle was her birthday present and measures (18" wide x 31" long).
